WWII German Records
The US National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) has more than 70,000 microfilm rolls of German records captured by the US Army during and after World War II. Most of the documents are in German language. The DVDs offered for sale here contain either 300 or 600dpi JPEG images of the documents scanned from microfilm at the US National Archives. Image quality varies based on the state of the original document and the quality of the image on the microfilm; however, most images can be greatly improved with photo-editing software. The captured German records is organized by series. For example, T-78 contains records of the Headquarters of the Army High Command, T-311 has Army Group records, T-314 has Corps records ... and so on.
